Think Pink: Shop the Trend

IMG_2168_1024x1024

I wouldn’t say that I’m a ‘pink’ kind of girl under normal circumstances. My little sister definitely isn’t. I remember my Mum commenting on the fact that neither of her daughters were fans of the colour with a slight tone of disappointment in her voice. I’m not entirely sure where this wish that at least one of her daughters being girly pink fans came from since she’s definitely not a “Pink is for girls. Blue is for boys” kind of parent and never has been. Maybe she just likes the colour and wanted an excuse to buy more of it? Good news Mum, I can’t get enough of the colour this season.

I didn’t see it coming particularly since, if you read my latest outfit post you’ll know I’m very into wearing black. Nevertheless, pink ruled the runway and being the little trends sheep that I am, I followed suit as the street stylers to know embraced the trend with open arms. Then there was that pink H&M jumper that took the fashion blogging world by storm and before I knew it my little legs were approaching every pink item in the shops before I had a second to even realise what I was doing. In the past 2 months I’ve bought at least 3 pink items, 4 if you count these Topshop embroidered jeans.

Pink can definitely be an intimidating colour to incorporate into your wardrobe especially if like me, your style isn’t exactly girly. Take note from the street stylers below and you’ll soon find out the best way to wear the colour to suit your style. These girls usually know best when it comes to style so trust that you’re in safe hands. Once you’ve found your kind of pink, shop the selection below and the trend is yours before you know it.
